As the oldest umbrella company in the U.S., Frankford Umbrellas began in 1898 with two brothers, Austrian immigrants Samuel and Benjamin Frankford.

Today, Frankford Umbrellas is one of the world's largest distributor of commercial quality market, patio, beach and hotdog cart umbrellas. Frankford is also a distributor of commercial quality patio furniture, and specializes in re-strapping existing patio furniture.

Taking the 112-year-old company to the next level, current fourth-generation owner and president Marc Kaufer recently relocated Frankford Umbrellas "headquarters" from Philadelphia to South Jersey. Frankford Umbrellas' 3,000 sq. foot factory outlet showroom in Mt. Laurel, NJ features resort quality patio and beach umbrellas and furniture.
