About Gold Medal Chairs TLT, Inc.
Since 1892, the Gold Medal Directors Chair has been the standard of style and quality in casual furniture. Through the years, many other companies have tried to emulate the design of the Gold Medal Directors Chair. The Gold Medal Directors Chair remains the standard for directors chair quality and design. The distinctive features of the American-Made Gold Medal Classic series, including the contoured leg design and shaped arm pads, have not changed through 115 years of manufacturing.
All Gold Medal Director Chair designs and licenses were purchased by TLT Inc. and are produced today at their factory in TN. An interesting fact is that the two brothers that started TLT, Bill and Gary Shaffield, started out making Communion wafers and hence the name, The Lord's Table (TLT).
